In 1984 Rockhill Electric and Technology was created by Steve and Sue Hosterman from nothing but a dream. Before Rockhill, Steve worked for a small electrical shop that he knew he would never excel at. From this experience he learned a lot. He saw that they had no ambition for knowledge and a lack of compassion for their clients. Steve and Sue knew they could do it better and they did. From the first moment the doors were open they were committed to always taking care of the customer and always have a high level of knowledge of the products and services they provide. This commitment still runs deep in the company.
Rockhill Electric Inc. has earned the trust of thousands of customers in the 28+ years they have been in business. They did this by hard work, honesty and training. Currently there is a combined 70 years experience as Master Electricians and several certifications and awards for products and services. Our Company provides a wide, unprecedented lineup of products and service. Rockhill and its technicians are factory certified in many products and services, including Generac, Briggs and Stratton and Kohler Generators. There is no job too complex or difficult for our staff. In 2002 Stephan Hosterman created Rock Tech, a Low Voltage Division to his parents company. Stephan had started working at Rockhill Electric as a young boy. He started the division with the same dedication and commitment as Steve and Sue. Rock Tech grew rapidly. Now Rock Tech is responsible for 50% of the business. Rock Tech provides cutting edge technology for both commercial and residential projects. Rock Tech and its employees are factory authorized dealers for many products, including Lutron and AMX.
