Lutron Serena Shades from Rock Tech of Kansas City

Serena remote controlled shades offer the beauty, luxury, and quality of a Lutron motorized shade at a price comparable to that of other brands’ manual shades. Featuring Triathlon® power technology, these shades have a 3-year battery life, so replacing batteries will be a rarity. And because the shades operate via a remote, you can adjust them from anywhere in the room, giving convenience and control. We offer two types of remotes for controlling Serena shades: an infrared and a radio frequency remote. Learn about the differences between them below.

Why Use Occupancy/Vacancy Sensors?

Want a convenient way to save energy in your home? A Maestro Occupancy Sensing Switch automatically turns lights on when you enter a room and off when you leave. It’s ideal for rooms where lights are often accidentally left on, such as a child’s room, or rooms where you often enter with your hands full, such as a laundry room.

My outlet in my bathroom is not working.

At Rockhill Electric we get this question a lot.  Here are some things to try before you call an electrician.  If you smell anything burning, see smoke or see arcing from the device not working do not follow our tips and call 911immediately.  Then call us and we will come repair this for you.

  • Check all of the GFCI Outlets in your home.  These are the outlets that have a test and reset button on them.  Sometimes these devices are hidden.  We have found them in other bathrooms, kitchens, basements, garages and even outside.  Often they can even be hidden.
  • Check your breaker or fuse box.  You may have a tripped breaker.  Most breakers lever are in the middle position when tripped.  Arc Fault, GFI and Cutler Hammer Classic breakers may show tripped when they are in the complete off position.
  • Check the outlet by plugging in a known working lamp or other device.  It could be the device that you have plugged in failed.
If these tips have not fixed your issue it is time to call us or visit our website.  (816)322-7625 or www.rockhillinc.com.
